Tom Catillaz Named Grand Marshal

SARANAC LAKE – The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Committee chose Tom Catillaz as its 2020 Grand Marshal for the Gala Parade on February 8. Tom has been an important part of the community for many years.

Tom was born in December 1954, the third child of Bunnie and Joe Catillaz. He attended St. Bernards, St. Pius, North Country Community College, and SUNY Geneseo. Tom was a member of the Lions Club, holding most all of the positions in the club. He is currently a member of the Village Board and has been for 18 years. Tom was also the past Mayor of Saranac Lake for 7 years. Tom has 3 children, Mallory, Thomas and Zachary, and lives with his spouse, Joann. He is employed at Hyde Fuel in Saranac Lake.
